Porto Katsiki is the most famous beach of the Greek island of Lefkada (Lefkada) and is located on the southwest coast.
It literally means "the port of the goat." Dozens of years ago there were mainly shepherds who let their goats graze in the great outdoors. The goats climbed the steep slopes on the beach by the fantastic turquoise sea. In this way the residents came up with the idea to give this place the name and Porto Katsiki.
